Neeraj was born and raised in Punjab, India, where he achieved a Bachelors degree in Sciences and a Masters degree in Computer Sciences.

After his education, Neeraj moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1993 on an H1B Visa for contract work with Deloitte. Neeraj worked as an Architect to develop their software systems and implement innovative technologies. And after his work with Deloitte, Neeraj served as a lead of modern technology implementation and scalability of enterprise software for many start-up businesses. Sovereign Bank was his first project, in which he was instrumental in publishing the first internet-based banking platform, with the first implementation of mobile deposits and other modern mobile banking features. His next project was ImageTree, a start up that implemented advanced, aerial imaging technology to thoroughly measure and monetize the value of forests and landscape. Neeraj and his team of developers produced and thoroughly tested this application and the Lidar technology the application implemented. His next project was with Legal Edge, where Neeraj scaled the company’s enterprise software, to help sell online, cloud-platform case management software.

A few years after moving to the United States, Neeraj had the idea of creating his own network of experienced mobile technology developers that would help innovate next-generation technology for growing businesses and large-scale Fortune500 companies, and started Software Merchant Inc. in 1997.

He later earned his MBA from the Temple Fox School of Business in 2007. As the President and CEO of Software Merchant Inc., Neeraj drives the company's strategy and operations, and has become a provider for enterprise-level mobile technology, benefiting Government, Financial & Banking, Retail, Automotive & Aviation, Healthcare, Communication, and Energy industries.

In his pastime, Neeraj enjoys playing golf, and investing and learning about finance and the stock market.
